Marbled Ceramic Bowls & Platter – Terra-Swirl Nerikomi
These ceramic plates and bowls celebrate the raw, rhythmic beauty of nature through the traditional Nerikomi kneading technique. Two distinctly different shades of clay are repeatedly folded and kneaded by hand — creating a marble-like texture deep within the ceramic body of each plate and bowl. A vivid testament to fusion and reconstruction, where tradition meets innovation.
Authentic Nerikomi Craftsmanship
The marble pattern forms through the natural interweaving of two clay colors — embedded within the material itself, not merely resting on the surface.
Unique Textural Identity
The natural randomness of the kneading process means each piece carries a distinctive mark that cannot be replicated — a reflection of the artist's soul in every swirl.
Luminous Glazed Finish
A thin transparent organic glaze covers the hand-marbled surface, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and everyday practicality — built for daily dining rituals.
