Some items are so captivating that one cannot help but savor and appreciate them in detail. This octagonal tray is hand-carved from a single piece of solid cherry wood, bearing the maker's quiet imprint—every groove, every ripple, every variation in texture tells its own story.

Dimensions, material and contents

Size: 30 × 17 cm (11.8 × 6.7 in).
Material: a single piece of solid cherry wood.
Single: one octagonal tray.
Set of 2: two octagonal trays.

Sculptural Artworks
From the beveled edges to the undulating waves at the bottom, the entire surface retains the texture left by hand carving. The octagonal shape captures the changing light and shadow from different angles, making this simple tray resemble a sculptural work of art that also has practical functions.

Premium Natural Wood
Crafted from solid cherry wood, the surface remains untreated, allowing the grain to breathe and age naturally. Over time, the wood will develop a deeper, richer, honey-hued luster.

Size and Use
Measuring 30 x 17 cm, it is perfect for holding food or displaying decorative items. Its understated elegance makes it a fitting addition to a desk, countertop, or nightstand.

Maintenance and Care
After cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Occasionally applying a small amount of food-grade wood oil can maintain the luster of the wood grain.

Hand-carved in limited quantities. Natural variations in wood grain and tone are the hallmarks of the material, making the piece you own truly unique.

DID YOU KNOW?

CARVED BY HAND, NOT BY MACHINE — Each tray is shaped from a single piece of solid cherry wood in small batches. The octagonal form and hand-adzed texture are created groove by groove, so every piece carries its own grain, tone and texture. You are buying one maker's afternoon, not a factory's output.

Organic Texture

Meticulously shaped from premium, responsibly sourced hardwood. Every curve and textured surface is a testament to the raw, enduring beauty of nature, crafted for a mindful dining experience.

Thoughtful Connection

We believe in conscious creating. From utilizing sustainable timber to our plastic-free, recyclable packaging, we strive to ensure our presence in your home is as gentle on the planet as it is on your table.

Hand-Carved Soul

Each piece is individually hand-carved, honoring the natural rhythm of the grain. Every stroke brings a warm, human touch to your table, making each object a unique companion for your daily rituals.

Beauty in Use.

Follow the care instructions for the individual product. Keep wooden pieces out of the dishwasher, microwave, and oven, and do not soak them. Where hand washing is permitted, wash briefly with mild soap and dry promptly. For products marked wipe-clean only, use a damp cloth and dry immediately. Apply food-safe conditioning oil only where recommended for the product’s finish.

Care requirements vary by ceramic product, glaze, and decoration. Use a dishwasher or microwave only when the individual product page confirms that the item is suitable. Oven use is permitted only for products explicitly marked oven-safe. Never microwave pieces with metallic accents. Avoid sudden temperature changes, and hand wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent when product-specific guidance is unavailable.

Temperature limits and dishwasher suitability vary by glassware collection. Follow the care instructions on the individual product page. Dishwasher use is suitable only where explicitly confirmed, and the selected wash, rinse, and drying settings must meet that product’s stated limits. Avoid sudden temperature changes. If dishwasher suitability or cycle temperatures are unconfirmed, hand wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent.

Care depends on the metal, finish, handle material, and construction. Follow the instructions on the individual product page. Hand wash the Matte Riveted Flatware collection with a soft sponge and mild detergent; dishwasher cleaning is not recommended for this collection. For other pieces, use a dishwasher only when explicitly confirmed as suitable. Dry promptly after cleaning, and avoid abrasive cleaners or prolonged soaking.

Follow the care instructions on the individual product page. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, or wipe with a damp cloth where permitted. Decorative pieces should not be used for food, in a microwave, or in an oven unless the product page explicitly confirms that use. For incense holders and other functional objects, follow their specific use and placement instructions.

The Rhythm of Creation

Every curve is shaped by patience, not machines. In our studio, we listen to the wood’s story, letting the rhythm of the chisel guide us toward a piece that feels as alive in your hand as it did in the forest.

Honest Textures

We celebrate the marks left behind—the gentle valleys and ridges created by hand-carved precision. These intentional textures catch the light and offer a tactile experience that connects you directly to the maker’s craft.

Rooted in Nature

From the warm, swirling grains to the subtle hues of hardwood, each plate and tray is a unique piece of nature brought indoors. Designed to age gracefully, they invite a quieter, more intentional pace to your daily meals.
